{Stylish Guest Party Feature} Pink & Red Second Birthday Dessert Table

Happy to start the week with the very first dessert table by Chelsea of Eye Candy Events in Melbourne, Australia. Congratulations Chelsea on your first dessert table venture!

Chelsea Arnold (8 and 1/2 months pregnant when she produced this!) said that Eye Candy Events' inaugural dessert table was designed to be fun and girly with pink and red polka dots for super sweet two year old Saskia.

Here is exactly what composed her table (take notes to repeat!): Fondant covered butter cake with buttercream filling; vanilla bean cupcakes; Tahitian lime babycakes with zesty lime frosting; mini fondant hearts and sanding sugar; lolly shaped sugar cookies; white chocolate covered Tim Tam cookie pops; macarons in champagne, rose and strawberry; coconut ice; strawberry and raspberry jellybeans; milk chocolate candy bars; strawberry flavored milk.

Decorations included spotty-themed papers, tissue paper pom poms and lanterns, grosgrain ribbons and damask tablecloths.

Chelsea says the young partygoers devoured the selection of sweets and were impressed by the mini bottles of strawberry flavored milk, while the adults particularly enjoyed the champagne macaroons and the lime babycakes.

Chelsea was a journalist for over 13 years. After starting a family and toying with the idea,Chelsea has finally taken the leap, tapped into her creative side and started her own bespoke event planning service.

Snow White

I love storybooks and fairytales, and have a stunning Snow White dessert table and darling Snow White children's party to share!

First is this spectacular Snow White Dessert Table, the winner of the European Sweet Table Contest hosted by Laure of  Sweet Girly Mommy

It was an honor to serve on the jury with incredible judges Amy Atlas (head judge) of Amy Atlas Events, Jenn of Hostess With The Mostess, Kim of The TomKat Studio, Courtney of Pizzazzerie and Lindsay of Bella Grace Party Designs

I was blown away when I first set eyes on this gorgeous table, and hope if you  haven't seen it already, you will find it inspiring too!

A HUGE congratulations to table designer Debs of Bell Amour in the United Kingdom--in awe of your gorgeous inspiration!

Second, I had the great joy of helping a lovely client Suzanne design a Snow White inspired birthday party for her beautiful daughter Lauren starting last summer!

Suzanne made it easy, as she was so sweet to work with, and had so many amazing ideas of her own! Nevertheless, we worked very hard together and she brought to life a truly precious party for Lauren {and my friend and amazing designer Kori of Paper & Pigtails did all the custom printables}.

For more details including vendors, check out Suzanne's blog post on the party here.

I have a feeling Suzanne will be wowing us with some amazing parties all her own pretty soon! Her creativity and energy and passion is endless--you were a joy to work with Suzanne, thank you!

Some of the many fun ideas I shared with Suzanne:

Burlap table runners, Snow White capes & red classic hairbow headbands for each guest... bushels for treats... bobbing for apples... candy gems for her "mine" themed sweet table...cake design...jars of wild flowers for the "Snow White Cottage" kid's table...the list goes on and on!

Combine that with the hundreds of amazing ideas Suzanne already had on her own, and she created a lovely party!

Onward and Upward!

Happy New Year!

It brings me great joy to know of many amazing children's parties in the works for 2011. Valentine's Day shoots, birthday parties, winter desssert tables, even whispers of Easter...such beautiful inspiration sure to come from these incredible celebrations!

This week I was blessed with the tremendous opportunity of meeting with my new and incredible business consultant for a powerful and productive meeting. I feel like I learned more in that hour than I have in the last 6 months!

After soaking in his wisdom, advice and great business analysis, I am thrilled to share that I will be embarking on a journey taking my gifts in a new direction, following paths of opportunities yet to be discovered.

In order to devote my very best to these new ventures {and I only want to give it my all!}, we agreed that the demands of my time and effort to pursue these opportunities will be great.

Therefore, after much careful consideration, I would like to announce that I will be winding down my blog {of course the vintage children's party design contest photo shoot and party school series will be featured before things wrap up!}.

My time spent on social media outlets will decrease dramatically, and I will be gearing up to go full speed for the adventures ahead.

I feel incredible excitement and joy about what is yet to come, including the announcement a project that has been in the works for months--cannot wait to share it with you.

Thank you for all of your incredible support, I very much look forward to each and every blog post I have the opportunity to share with you as this chapter comes to a close. I've saved some of the very best for last!

And to the many incredibly talented women and businesses I have had the pleasure of getting to know, work with and be inspired by--I wish you incredible success for 2011, many new doors opening for you, dreams coming true!
