International Sweet Table Contest

My apologies for the lack of blog posts lately! Things have been very busy, but I look forward to getting back into the groove very soon! I am excited to share with you many fabulous real parties, ideas for a party to celebrate The Martha Stewart Show, and some upcoming collaborations that are sure to inspire you!

First things first...I absolutely couldn't wait any longer to share with you this exciting contest I hope you will strongly consider entering!

As you may know, sweet tables (also known as "dessert tables") are quite popular for parties, especially children's parties as I often feature here or on my other blog, Stylish Children's Parties.

There is an international sweet table design contest where you (non-professional party planners only) can enter (I hope you do!!!), and the Chief Judge is the dessert table queen herself, the lovely Amy Atlas! (Wow! An incredible honor to be a part of a "jury" under a creative genius and personal role model, Amy herself!)

I was greatly honored when I was approached by lovely Laure (the creator of this contest) of Sweet Girl Mommy to be a member of the jury for this contest, which I am excited to be a part of.

Check out the jury!

Jenn from Hostess With The Mostess

Courtney from Pizzazzerie

Lindsey from  Bella Grace Party Designs

Kim from The Tom Kat Studio

Jenin of The Creative Hostess

There are also amazing judges from Germany, Italy, Portugal and Spain!

The contest officially began September 6th, and runs through December 31, 2010. One entry allowed per contestant, and it is highly recommended you get your submissions in by December 10th.

For all the official rules and details, check out Laure's website here.

Can't wait to see what brilliant sweet tables you create! Best of luck!
