Polka Dots and Stripes First Birthday {Kate Landers Events, LLC, Products}

A few months ago a most lovely client Megan ordered some custom products from Kate Landers Events, LLC, for a very special first birthday celebration for twins James and Olivia.
Megan and the family selected the soft bright dots and stripes collection as debuted on Hostess With The Mostess last summer. It was the perfect balance of colors for both a birthday boy and a birthday girl!

Custom printed items from Kate Landers Events, LLC, included invitations, labels for paper cups, labels for napkin rings, custom paper bunting {as seen above}, placecards and personalized party hats for the birthday boy and birthday girl!

Megan also rented some of our custom fabric table runners we had on hand for the party table {shown above} as well as the dessert table.

I absolutely love the colors of our custom tissue flower poms that Megan ordered from Kate Landers Events, LLC, for the party: Orange, Tangerine and Cream.

I am in *LOVE* with the Rosanna, Inc. pedestal cake stands and serving pieces used at the party (not to mention the darling birthday cakes!). Know where you can find them? At my favorite online shop, Layla Grayce, of course!

What a lovely image of the cupcakes. Check out the spotted baking cups, a perfect match to her custom printed party treats and even the sprinkles match the cake design--brilliant work!

In addition to helping Megan order the custom items, I also gave her some tips for using paper party products and dressing them up to look more stylish. As you can see here, one of the ideas was to use a second napkin with a polka dot pattern wrapped around the first, and sealed with a custom label, as the napkin ring. I also love using plain white paper cups and personalizing with a label. And a white paper plate with a larger colorful paper plate as a "charger" works wonders!

Sometimes our custom printed party hats aren't so well received....

And other times, they aren't such a bother!

One of the most precious pictures Megan captured was that of James and Olivia enjoying their "smash cakes"--with our without a party hat! {By the way, the darling custom t-shirts were created by GoldenShop on Etsy}

I also wanted to include this image of a great idea they used for the party: a bookcase display of photos of the children throughout their first year. They spiced it up using balloons with the party colors. I always suggest a table of framed photos of the birthday child throughout their first year, but never thought of a bookcase--what a lovely idea!

A tremendous thank you to Megan for sharing her beautiful photos with us. You can see more images from Megan's album here.

I remember a friend once had her twins 1st birthday party as similar as this you got here. She got a lovely and very beautiful boys. I wonder where she gets all the amazing DIY ideas. I adore her being hands on mom. Even that pictures displayed all through out the baby's development before turning one, and the theme color, almost the same! Orange and blue. She's one of a hands on mom and very lucky of stumbling upon this site for some ideas. Will also get ideas from here. Thank you for posting this!
