Icing Designs: A Monster of a Giveaway + DIY Monsters

Are you familiar with the incredibly creative and talented Melissa and Kellie of Icing Designs?

Many of you may recognize the gorgeous images above and below...

Yes, it would be Icing Designs that introduced you to it (check out the DIY ice cream cone tutorial by their DIY creative correspondent Katie, found here)! I am personally a tremendous fan of Melissa and Kellie and their work. {photography and styling by this dynamic duo}

I had the honor and privilege of collaborating with them on two fabulous upcoming features...one is a personal event, the other a shoot.

They went FAR above and beyond my greatest expectations, working incredibly hard to  create the most spectacular, unique, one-of-a-kind party pretties that will blow you away!!!

Icing Designs creates hand-illustrated and hand-glittered paper party goods.

They also create hand-glittered photo party goods: invitations, cupcake toppers, gift tags, annoucements, cards and garlands.

Melissa and Kellie tell us... "If you look closely you will see that there is a sweet in every one of our illustrations.

 Even our photo items are called "Frosted Photos".

"We also have a blog where we feature innovative DIY projects that we have created, party planning ideas, recipes and photos of our work and the work of others who have inspired us."

Take a peek at this ADORABLE Monster Candy Holder, a DIY tutorial on their blog found here.

  7. I love Halloween for children, as it i an opportunity for the child to make the big decision of what he/she wants to be despite all of the fantastic ideas Mom has! And yes...sometimes it is that plastic costume from Walmart! This year my twin girls will NOT match - one will be Minnie Mouse and the other a beautiful ballerina...at least this week!
